A question we get asked most as player gain levels and get beyond 255 HP is this: "{ADMINNAME}, Is the server broken or something because my HP only says 19!?" We ask, "What does your AP read?" Answerers:  "275. Why?" Our reply is, "You mean to tell us you do not know about the HP Client Counter Glitch?" The most common reply is "What Glitch?"

The problem here is simple ladies and germs: On the client GUI the HP counter only counts only from 0 - 255. Therefore: 256 would show up as 0 on the client's HP counter. So if your counter reads 19 add 256 to it and your total HP would be 275. As players achieve higher heroes they never notice the AP counter reading saying, 450, 400, 350, 300 or 275. Typically a hero with HP/AP most of them come with the HP/AP set.

Hope we shed some light on this matter.

You have been kicked from server:
Reason: Your [map/model/sprite.ext] differs from servers. Server enforcing file consistency checks.

We have seen this message more recently then ever. Why? From Windows' built in Disk Cleanup utility takes it upon its self to 'compress' your files for you. If you open up your STEAM install folder you will find files (if the color option is enabled) in the SOMEFILE.GFC blue color.

Your best fix will be to decompress your files from the source.

Here's how:

• Right Click on the Drive and select, Propertied
• Click the box for 'Compress Drive to save space' check box.
• Click apply, then select Radio Option to Apply to D:\ Only, then OK.
• Now Unclick the bod for 'Compress Drive to save space' check box.
• Click apply, then select Radio Option to Apply to D:\, Subfolder and files', click ok
• Wait until job is complete...

Now that your files do not have to do through the 'uncompression' phase during the fetching and opening of the file, STEAM (gag) can verify the file.

Simple enough.

• CPU - Manufacture, Speed, Cashe
• RAM - MB of ram installed (And Verify with Operating System, Windows XP only sees <3.3 GB of Memory and some Linux Builds only see the first 848MB of RAM - Linux is fixable, windows is not).
• And finally, the issue you are having.

A good example of this will be:

CPU - Xeon® 3.16GHz processor 5400 series
RAM - 6GB PC12800 DDR3

Issue: We can connect to our LAN server but players are not able to come in from the WAN (or internet). The more details you can give us with, the better we can help you try to solve your problem.

Since the latest lovely updates from "STEAM" we have noticed yet another big screw-up. We run a dedicated Counter-Strike server which is PASSWORD PROTECTED. But the problem is not the dedicated server!

This new update has 2 problems;

#1 The server on the list doesn't even show the "LOCK" icon indicating the server is PASSWORD PROTECTED.

#2 Players are NOT PROMPTED for the password and get a message "Connection to the game server was refused. The password entered is incorrect."

This issue is REQUIRED to be fixed being as everything worked before the new backward update was applied.

I have more than one server that I play on, so I do not see how checking my "local Game Conten Files" is gonna help the 100's who are attempting to connect to this server and ALL have the same issue.

I am not some boy who got a computer for Christmas last year. I am an IT professional and am specialized in computer networking technology. So please do not waste my time "tier 1" tech support. I am above and beyond this level of support.

Now can please own up to the issue and dig down to the heart of this problem and let's come up with a more viable solution. Next step please!

This is typical of non-support to push this issue off to avoid what the issue really is. Do we need a reminder of why this ticket was presented to begin with? Here, let me refresh your memories;

Chances are you did not follow the rules in the server and an admin or the server operators banned you.

You think you can get away with breaking the rules, YOU ARE dead WRONG! WE FIND OUT EVERYTHING. You do not even have to be in the server to be banned. KEEP THAT IN MIND AS WELL!
