If you have your media set, we can use them as ours have gotten corrupted. We were able to reconstruct the packages for Q3A and of course HL (I still have my original files from 2004). If you would care to email them to me, the community would be grateful. But then again, this may be one of the Games which would be dropped from VSP as well as COD and I do not know anyone who uses RTCW. So... If nothing by the end of the year they will no longer be supported.

For those of you who are wondering where the Excessive Plus went. Sorry "XP" doesn't ship with any maps. Excessive Plus is a MOD for Quake 3 Arena / Team Arena and it just modifies games play. There are custom maps for the mod, but until they make a "map set" for their custom maps, there isn't one in existence. It just uses the default map sets for the game.

Bro, a few things here. You did not read the ReadME. You are not supposed to FTP the entire contents of VSP_v1.0.51 to your website for viewing, you put the core on your site where YOU know it is if you need to run VSP via a Web Browser.

If you will note in the README, no where will you see a single word mentioning XAMPP, WAMPP, etc in ANY document of VSP for a reason. I used to use them for DEVELOPMENT of VSP. But for the past few years I have been using my Windows Server 2022 DataCenter setup.

If you are running the WEB VSP on your site then you put these files in a folder, for instance "vspstats", then in your browser you open yourwebsite.site/vspstats/vsp.php (you need to call vsp.php as it is NOT index.php), and you will see the web interface of VSP (as seen from your website below). But for public viewing you only need to send the content of the vsp-core_v1.0.51\pub\ to the root of where ever vsp.servegame.com is located.

The vsp.servegame.com indicates a subdomain, so I am not sure of this exact setup. I do this because vsp.krillinsworld.com pointed to my web server where I hosted my VSP Player Stats. This was also where I was working and hosting the latest version of VSP I was working on. And because of this, I had a handful of subdomains hosted here, so using the vhost.conf in my Apache wasn't pretty.

In your case, all I did was click on the vsp.php (THIS IS THE WEB INTERFACE):

I am looking over the README document, it is NOT confusing, this is close to the original. There was (maybe still is) a statement in there saying "Read these instructions once, twice, three, or four times OR MORE until you understand them 100% completely." Maybe it is time to modernize it?

For shits and giggles, I opened your /pub/ folder (if you noticed there IS an index.php file in there). BUT XAMP BRO? Not recommended for production, these are strictly used for DEVELOPMENT.

P.S. I located an old Q3A/TA server when we were on windows. In side there was an "excessive" folder. I click into it and opened description.txt. It was EP V004 from 3-1-04. I went and got the newest 2.3 created a folder "excessive2" and pasted the contents from the zip file. I played single player really quickly, but the log file did not look anything like the one you submitted (perhaps from this is a client version?) I will try a dedicated server one here and compare;

Sorry for the delay, I did not know you had replied so quickly. Thank you for the a log file to work with!

Using XAMPP! I would have assumed you would have been using a webhost for your game's server logs. I was using this kind of setup on my laptop for developing. I am now using my live production server which is on windows. I really did not get the opportunity to thoroughly test this with Q3/Q3TA etc.

I will return back here with an update when I get this sorted out. I will start on this right now. Deprecations are normally easy to resolve, other issues may take some time. But this doesn't look too bad. Also, what version is EP on right now 203? I will check if this is getting in the log file or not.

For now, it maybe wise to just stick with PHP 8.0 - 8.1?

I am not exactly sure how you are running VSP as you are not sharing how you are running VSP (web / CLI) or the command used to run. Because if memory serves me correctly, you were also using an UNOFFICAL version of VSP and attempted to get assistance here for it. So I cannot be assured you are using a valid version of VSP.

I would like to take a look your errors, but I would require to run my isolated development build against your a log file. Also, please provide to me what distribution of Q3 you are running. For example are you running and OEM or Steam Version of Q3/Q3TA. I lost everything I owned (my games, my gaming computer and my dedicated gaming servers) so I currently have nothing to work with except my file server (windows) and my work laptop (also windows).

If you do not feel safe posting your log file here, then please email me the log and I will look at it. I am currently building a Social Media Site using Laravel 11 with Vue, so when I get the time I will look into addressing these errors.

Thanks for your cooperation and my apologies for the issues.

This will correct the issue with the subversion numbers with 8.2.xx as it was limited to 8.2.00 for some reason. This has NOT yet been published, this will be applied in the next version.

Sorry for the delay. There are a few ideas. I will look into this and see what is going on as our development is done using Windows Server 2022 using Apache 2.4.62 with PHP 8.2.16 and there aren't any issues. As it seems your system is not verifying your php version properly.

You need to give me more information on what you are doing rather than this tidbit of information you provided.

Also, update your version of PHP 8.2.4 to 8.2.16. There is no harm in keeping your PHP engine updated to the current version as there could be some minor version detection constant changes in your early version of 8.2.4, because of this there is a fallback written into the PHP Version Detection.

Downloads / Widescreen 16:10 Menus Offset Fixed

This WAS posted at steam community SEVERAL times, and several times it has been taken down. Due to file corruption from my hosting company. I am looking for a new one at this point!

Being as the Engineers / Developers are no longer doing anything to CS 1.6 or CZ these days. We had to come up with a solution for our Screen Interface for our games with a 16:10 RATIO. I am happy to say we did, and did so successfully.

Attached to this post below, fix_widescreen_alignments.zip, are all the files needed to fix the offsets MOTD + Menus for players with Widescreen 16:10 aspect ratio monitors.

If by some chance these files don't work for you, just delete them and they will go back to square one. (Use with caution with the new HD update in March of 2013, deleting these files can leave your interface blank.)

Place the contents of the /resource folder contained in the .zip file attachment into your "../../counter-strike/cstrike" or "../../condition-zero/czero" installation folder(s). Overwrite the existing files when needed, or make a backup copy of the originals.

You use these files at your own risk. But we assure you there isn't any risk at all. These files are modified from the counter-strike.gcf files delivered to you from steam. Only modified the specific Numeric Values to place the required items on our screens properly. Nothing is inserted into these files or contain anything extra.

Hope you enjoy the 2 days of dabbling around and 14 months of bullshit and runaround from STEAM's NON-TECH SUPPORT and LAME-O DBA's who conveniently lost my account between January and April of 2008 when we hadn't heard any progress of our findings! That is because steam conveniently deleted ALL support tickets on my and many others accounts.

Reason for Edit: Fixed the download, made it easier for players to unzip, cut & paste and go. The no hassle method. Added more info and link to steam forums, tested on Condition-Zero and past. Minor grammar and flow corrections. Updated Links seeing as Steampowered.com forum entries were DELETE/REMOVED (first one above). Re-posted in two forums this time around.

So I thought this was a simple fix, but it was the wrong fix. This has been fully addressed properly according to PHP 7 documentation regarding this issue. Though Class and Function still cannot have the same names, there is a right fix for this and it has been implemented in V.S.P. v0.50 properly along with a lot of other fixes.
